Three Counties, One Office
Up To Date Construction Group works from 8018 Stinson Hartis Road in Indian Trail. That puts Stallings, Weddington, Matthews and Mint Hill within about fifteen minutes, Monroe, Waxhaw and most of south and east Charlotte within twenty-five, and Harrisburg and Concord within about forty. Ten towns, three counties, and the same crews and the same owners on every job.
The towns are not interchangeable, and the pages below say so. Housing stock changes as you move across the map: brick ranches from the 1960s and 1970s in Mint Hill and Monroe, hardboard-sided two-stories from the 1980s and 1990s in Matthews and east Charlotte, planned communities from the 2000s onward in Indian Trail, Waxhaw, Harrisburg and Concord, and large-lot estate homes in Weddington. Each of those brings a different roofing and siding job, and a different conversation about renovation.
The permitting office changes too. Union County Building Code Enforcement inspects Indian Trail, Stallings, Weddington and Waxhaw; Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement (LUESA) inspects Charlotte, Mint Hill and Matthews; Cabarrus County covers Harrisburg, and Concord runs its own inspections. We pull the permit through whichever office has jurisdiction, and we know each one's schedule.
We have also built in South Carolina. Fort Mill, Indian Land and Lancaster County are a short drive from Waxhaw and Weddington; if you are across the line, call and ask.
