First things first, the location couldn’t have been any better. At 7251 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd Mint Hill, NC sat a beautiful charming brick home on a 0.41 acre lot. With a vision in mind and a strong reliable construction company like Up To Date Construction Group, beautiful things started to come together. First priority was a full restoration of the existing framing and support beams. This strengthened the existing structure and allowed for the flexibility of new rooms and an improved layout to build off of.

Up next was the clearing of the backyard and pouring of the foundation. This will soon be the main area of the brewery where the indoor seating, seven barrel system, kitchen and parking lot are now. The owners felt it would be a nice touch to keep the fireplace and it couldn’t have been a better decision. A beautiful brick fireplace sits near the entrance of the brewery, perfect for guests on cold winter nights. The structure was widened in some areas, a new roof and gutters, more exterior brick added, and Panzú Brewery signage.

The end of the project was near, but there was still work to be done. Next was the finishing touches on all interior from tables, chairs, TV’s, counters, flooring, and more. Lastly, the front deck was fully done in a vibrant open feeling with ambient lighting for nights and calming hanging outdoor plants that really brought the construction together.
